Business Trainings

TWOPU facilitates Business Trainings for women, their families, scholarship recipients, and the community. These trainings are led by TWOPU staff and local business leaders. The attendees are taught how to run a local business, write a business plan, prepare a budget, and how to keep a record of sales and purchases.

TWOPU "Microloan" Program

Women who are members of TWOPU, have attended our Business Trainings, and written a business plan are eligible to submit their plans to our microloan committee. The committee includes women and men who are pillars in the business community and TWOPU. This team reviews qualifying business plans and rewards microloans to women so they can start their businesses. Our microloans have a very low interest rate, as our goal is to ensure success for these women. We have granted over 120 microloans for enriching Pader's local economy.​

Savings Groups

TWOPU helps facilitate and encourage savings groups, where those who have microloans meet on a regular basis to discuss business, give each other advice, fellowship, pray for one another, and save money together for additional investing and emergencies within the group.​

Financial Planning

For many of our full-time staff members, TWOPU is the first job they've ever had. With these new steady incomes, we want to set up our staff for success by hosting trainings where business leaders discuss financial literacy and budgeting.

The Impact Center

The Impact Center is a creative approach to bringing opportunity to Pader. This program currently employs a handful of women who have been trained to work on a computer doing remote data labeling and machine learning for freelance jobs. They are currently working on a project full-time for a company that is based out of Austin, Texas.
